About the Summit

Transforming Kansas: Local Communities Uniting to End Homelessness

The 2026 Summit on Homelessness and Housing is where Kansas communities come together to move the work forward. Hosted by the Kansas Statewide Homeless Coalition, this annual gathering brings together frontline providers, people with lived experience, policymakers, and local leaders who are shaping real solutions to homelessness across our state.

This year’s theme—Transforming Kansas: Local Communities Uniting to End Homelessness—reflects the power of community-driven efforts and the importance of working together across systems and regions. Whether you’re just getting started or deep in the work, the Summit offers space to learn, share, and connect through hands-on sessions, honest conversations, and practical tools you can take back home.

Together, we can build stronger systems, more responsive programs, and a future where every Kansan has access to safe, stable housing.
